I’m Katie Green—researcher, writer, and passionate advocate for celebrating women’s leadership throughout history. My career, including years of service in the Navy and other male-dominated fields, has given me a deep understanding of the resilience and determination it takes for women to lead in spaces not designed for their success. As a mother, I’m committed to ensuring my children grow up knowing the stories of remarkable women—trailblazers, visionaries, and leaders who shaped the world. This project is my tribute to their legacy and a way to keep their voices alive, inspiring generations to come.
Leading Legacies
Women Who Led, Inspired, and Transformed Leadership
History has long been told through a narrow lens, often diminishing the impact of women who shaped societies, led movements, and redefined power. This website is a tribute to those leaders—spanning centuries and cultures—who challenged the status quo and left an undeniable mark on the world. By showcasing their journeys, struggles, and triumphs, I aim to create a space where their legacies are not only remembered but celebrated. My hope is that visitors leave with a deeper appreciation for the role women have played in history and feel inspired to continue their legacy in their own way
